Certification signifies in-depth understanding of the ethical obligations and prudent investment practices required of a fiduciary (ie, anyone entrusted with handling another person's financial interests). AIF® certification is granted by the Center for Fiduciary Studies, affiliated with the University of Pittsburgh School of Business. It is the only national certification for fiduciaries.
