Florida Medicaid Divisor Increases

6-1-2017 - The eligibility rules for Florida Medicaid long-term care benefits are constantly changing. Effective June 1, 2017, the penalty divisor has incrased to $8,944.00 (was $8,662.00). The new divisor is used to determine the penalty period for applicants applying for Medicaid long-term care benefits effective June 1,2017, regardless of when the transfer took place within the prior five years.
